Jangra began his career after graduating (Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts) with a degree in cinematography. He has been active in the independent film circuit and is known for his naturalistic and regionally grounded visual style. His notable works include the feature-length documentary Measure of Silence (Starring Alina Khan) and the short film Dhara Ka Tame.
