Draft:Na Kim
Submission declined on 17 June 2025 by Netherzone (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Comment: What is needed to establish notability are multiple in-depth, secondary significant coverage in reliable sources that are fully independent from the person. Doesn't seem to meet WP:NARTIST at this time. Also appears to be an autobiography WP:AUTOBIO. It may be a good idea to include her full name in Korean: Kim Young-Na. Na Kim (born 1979), also known as 김영나, is a Berlin-based designer and artist working at the intersection of graphic design, contemporary art, and curatorial practice. Her work explores space, memory, and visual language, often using and reinterpreting everyday objects. She sees design as a way of creating fiction by chance and sharing it with others.[1]
Kim studied industrial design at KAIST (BS), graphic design at Hongik University (MA), and completed her master’s degree at Werkplaats Typografie, ArtEZ (MA) in the Netherlands. Her long-term projects include the SET[2][3] series (2015–ongoing), a visual archive-based installation that reinterprets elements from past projects, and LOOM, a project space she founded in Berlin in 2022,[4] which hosts exhibitions and invites reflection on the circulation of works and ideas. She was also in charge of concept and design of Graphic Magazine (2009–2012).[5][6]
Notable solo exhibitions include Easy Heavy[7] (Kukje Gallery, 2024), TESTER[8] (Doosan Gallery, 2023), Bottomless Bag[9] (Buk-Seoul Museum of Art, 2020), and SET[10](Doosan Gallery New York, 2015). Her works have been presented at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the V&A Museum in London, MMCA Seoul, Kukje Gallery, ICA Philadelphia, the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, and the Milan Triennale Museum.
She regularly gives lectures and workshops at institutions such as ÉCAL, RMIT, ZHdK, KABK, ELISAVA, HfG Offenbach, UdK Berlin, UQAM, and Yale University.
