Mohammed Thamleekha (born 20 June 2006) is an Indian softbaseball athlete and national medalist. He currently represents the state of Kerala in national-level softbaseball championships and is also a BSc Microbiology (Hons) student at MAMO College, Manassery, affiliated with the University of Calicut.

Early life and education
[edit]Mohammed Thamleekha was born in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and has held Indian citizenship since birth. He studied in Saudi Arabia until Grade 7 under the CBSE curriculum. After relocating to India permanently, he continued his education at Woodlem Park School, Calicut, completing his Class 10 in 2022 (CBSE). He pursued his higher secondary studies in the science stream at KMO HSS, Koduvally, and passed Plus Two in 2024 under the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala.
In 2024, he joined MAMO College, Manassery, under the sports quota for a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology (Honours). As of June 2025, he is in his second year of study.

Sports career
[edit]Thamleekha has been active in school-level sports, especially during his higher secondary education. He participated in various disciplines including baseball, softball, and football. He secured bronze medals in all three at the sub-district level and represented the Koduvally sub-district softball team at the Kozhikode revenue district championship, winning a silver medal.
He was later selected for the Kozhikode district senior softbaseball team, which participated in the Kerala State Softbaseball Championship held in January 2024 at Tirur College Stadium, Malappuram. His performance in this tournament made him eligible for college admission via the sports quota.
In 2025, he was selected to the Kerala State Softbaseball team and represented the state at the **Federation Cup National Softbaseball Championship**, held in May 2025 at Sangli, Maharashtra. Kerala won the national title.[1]
