Mo Sarrar (active since 2005) is a British-Sudanese artist who has worked as a singer and actor, performing in theatrical productions and music events in the United Kingdom and internationally.

Biography

Mo Sarrar is a Sudanese-born actor, musician, singer, and songwriter bas He grew up in an artistic family so he started making music in an early age. In 2015 he joind Good Chance Theatre company as an ensemble member. a company focused on collaborative work with displaced artists. He appeared in The Jungle, a stage production developed by Good Chance in association with the Young Vic and the National Theatre, which depicted life in the Calais refugee camp.

Career

Mo Sarrar began his artistic career in the United Kingdom, working as an actor, musician, singer, and songwriter. His theatre work has often focused on themes of migration, displacement, and community.

In addition to his work in theatre, Sarrar co-recorded the album Sounds of Refuge 2018, alongside John Falsetto and Ammar Haj Ahmad He began writing songs in an early age inspired by his way of life he had.
