Mississippi Highway 404 (MS 404) is a 32.8-mile-long (52.8 km) east–west highway in northern Mississippi, connecting the towns of Duck Hill and Bellefontaine.^[1] It begins at Interstate 55 (I-55) in Carroll County and extends east to US Highway 51 (US 51).^[2]

Route description

MS 404 starts at an intersection with I-55 near Grenada. It continues towards Duck Hill and it junctions with US 51 and runs concurrently with US 51 through Duck Hill. The highway then winds its way east through Alva towards Bellefontaine, ending at MS 9.

Both the 12.5-mile (20.1 km) section between I-55 and 7.3 miles (11.7 km) east of Duck Hill in Carroll and Montgomery counties, as well as the 6.1-mile (9.8 km) section between Cadaretta Road (CR 250) and Bellefontaine in Webster County are maintained by the state, with the rest through Alva maintained by both Montgomery and Webster counties.^[3]^[4]
