Michael Pollack (financier and producer)

Michael Pollack is an American financier and producer whose career in real estate, film, and entertainment spans 4 decades. He is the founder and CEO of Pollack Films.[1]

Career

Pollack founded Asset Source International[2], a litigation support firm later acquired by STA International[3]. He served as President and CEO before and after becoming Chief Operating Officer of the parent company. He was involved in the antiquities market through his Ohio gallery, The Vintage Vault.[4]

Film and theatre

For many years Pollack was a consultant and financier on dozens of Hollywood films.[5] More recently Pollack has produced films including Hansel & Gretel Get Baked (2013), starring Lara Flynn Boyle, Michael Welch, and Molly Quinn,[6] the documentary film Fields of Gold (2023), which received several festival awards,[7] documentary film Bronx Socrates (2025),[8] and most recently Ferocious Drummers, which includes interviews with Gregg Bissonette, Questlove, Kenny Arnoff, and Chad Smith amongst others. [9]

He has also optioned several books for screen adaptation, including:
