Michael Osumah (born December 21, 1995) is a Nigerian professional boxer competing in the super welterweight division. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, he trains at the TMT Mayweather Boxing Club under the mentorship of former world champions Joel Casamayor and Boza Edwards. Known for his explosive power and fast-paced fighting style, Osumah has built a growing reputation on the American boxing scene.

Early Life and Background
[edit]Osumah was born in Lagos, Nigeria, the seventh of nine siblings. Facing economic hardships, he left Nigeria at the age of 14, traveling through several African countries, including Ghana and Ivory Coast. His journey eventually led him to Asia, where he met his future wife, a Malaysian-Singaporean national. They married in 2016 and have three sons. The family later settled in the United States.
Athletic Career
[edit]Initially a soccer player, Osumah transitioned to boxing during the COVID-19 pandemic. He relocated to Las Vegas and began training at the TMT Mayweather Boxing Club, honing his skills under the guidance of Casamayor and Boza-Edwards.
