Michael Edward Hayworth is an American author, filmmaker, and entrepreneur.
Early life and education
[edit]Hayworth was born and raised in High Point, North Carolina. He attended Westchester Country Day School and High Point Central High School. He participated in the University of North Carolina Summer Advanced Program during high school. He later attended Full Sail University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Harvard Extension School.
Career
[edit]In 1995, Hayworth co-filed U.S. Patent No. 5,790,958.[1][non-primary source needed]
Hayworth began in film as a cast member at Disney’s Hollywood & Vine and remained under contract with MGM–Florida before joining IDEAS Orlando.[citation needed]
He later worked on indie films like Morning, Briar Patch, and Cabin Fever, and co-founded Fresh Brewed Films.[citation needed]
He attended the 2012 Oscars, during which the concept for Chuck's cooking show emerged when a network exec said, "You’ve got two weeks to give me a pilot."[citation needed]
