Meer Masum
[edit]Meer Shahriar Hossain Masum is a Bangladeshi Composer, Music Producer, Singer, Songwriter & keyboardist, best known for his role in the rock band Souls. He joined the band in the early 2000s and contributed to its continued success during major milestones, including its 50th anniversary.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Born on 1st January 1982 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Masum began studying music under Sri Harimohan Debnath. He received his first keyboard in 1998, sparking a lifelong dedication to composition.
Career
[edit]Masum joined Souls following a successful audition in 2003. After a brief hiatus in 2009, he rejoined in 2010 and has remained a prominent figure in the band’s performances and studio projects.
Personal Life
[edit]Outside Souls, Masum composes and collaborates with other artists. His style blends classical training with contemporary arrangements.
