== Early Life and Education ==

Manish Panchal was born in Mumbai and grew up in a middle-class Gujarati family. He is the youngest of three brothers and completed his schooling at Sir Cowasjee Jehangir High School, Mumbai. He earned a B.Sc. in Chemistry, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management, and a master's in management from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines.

During his student years, Panchal was active in dramatics, cricket, and student leadership. He served as the secretary of the science seminar and was a member of the college student council. He also started the first laughter club in the Philippines and remains an advocate for stress-reduction through laughter therapy.

Panchal has more than two decades of experience in strategy consulting and public policy. He served as Executive Director at Equirus Group and was formerly a partner at Tata Strategic Management Group.
