Madhu Raghavendra is a poet and founder of Poetry Couture, a movement that fosters free spaces for poetry across India, including the North East. He has authored three poetry collections: Make Me Some Love To Eat, Stick No Bills, and Being Non-essential (Red River, New Delhi). Through performance poetry, he advocates for human and environmental rights, frequently curating and reading for American Center libraries in India. His cross-disciplinary collaborations span music, dance, and visual arts, with his poems translated into multiple languages and featured in various literary journals. He was a resident artist at Basar Confluence and participated as a resident poet at the 2021 Spring International Writing Program at the University of Iowa.
