Madahar Kalan is a village in the Sri Muktsar Sahib district of the Indian state of Punjab. It is administered by a Sarpanch, who is elected according to the Constitution of India and the Panchayati Raj Act.

Madahar Kalan covers a total area of approximately 1,520 hectares. The village lies near Bariwala, which serves as the nearest town for major economic and administrative activities. The village code is 035449 and the PIN code is 152025.

Demographics

According to the Census of India 2011,[1] Madahar Kalan had a total population of 2,790, comprising 1,466 males and 1,324 females. The sex ratio was 903 females per 1,000 males. There were 292 children aged 0–6 years.

Scheduled Castes and Tribes

The Scheduled Caste (SC) population was 875 (471 males and 404 females). There was no recorded Scheduled Tribe (ST) population in the village.

Literacy
