Love you is a 2025[1]world's first fully AI-generated[2] Kannada feature film Directed and produced by S Narasimhamurthy.[3] The production team utilized around 30 AI tools, with software expenses amounting to nearly ₹10 lakh.[2] This 95-minute film features 12 songs and took about six months to finish.[4]The only other human contributor was Nutan, a graphic artist who transitioned into an AI technician.[5]

[edit]Sushmita Sameera of Times of India[10]wrote Over the past decade, technology has rapidly advanced—from manual processes to digital systems, and now to AI (Artificial Intelligence), which is transforming the digital world to make life simpler and more efficient. AI is already embedded in our daily lives, helping us edit photos, correct grammar, conduct research, answer customer queries, and recommend songs, videos, and products. From smart TVs and refrigerators to vacuum cleaners, watches, and phones, AI-enabled devices perform tasks beyond imagination, seamlessly integrating into our routines. That said, Love You marks a pioneering step in AI-generated feature film in Kannada. While AI tools have already seen success in short stories and social media content—and films like Veera Chandrahasa have used AI in parts recently—creating a full-length film demands a strong story and more advanced technology. As these tools evolve, this could become a new creative direction. For now, Nutan (AI Developer and Editor) and director Narasimhamurthy have taken the bold first step.[11]
