Louis J. Alber was a foreign correspondent and lecturer from the United States. With Arthur C. Coit he led a lecture bureau.[1][2] It was based in Cleveland.[3]

He edited Lyceumite and Talent which became Lyceum Magazine.[4] Ralph Parlette was another of its editors.

His lecture "Houdini: A Lecture on Spirit Communications (with Demonstrations)." was published.[5]

He represented Winston Churchill after he left office.[6]
