The name Bailu has been used to name one tropical cyclone in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. The name was provided by China, which refers to the white deer that symbolize auspiciousness in Chinese language. It replaced the name Haiyan, which was retired following the 2013 Pacific typhoon season.
