Lindiwe Moyo is a South African corporate finance specialist and the Managing Partner of Unire Africa, a boutique mergers and acquisitions advisory firm focused on energy and infrastructure transactions across Sub-Saharan Africa. Early Life and Education
Lindiwe Moyo was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. During her studies, she focused on project finance and emerging markets investment, which laid the foundation for her later specialisation in energy sector transactions.
Career
Moyo began her career as a financial analyst at one of South Africa’s leading commercial banks, where she gained early exposure to infrastructure lending and capital raising for large-scale energy projects. She subsequently joined an international investment bank’s Johannesburg office, advising on high-profile mergers, acquisitions, and capital market transactions throughout Africa.
Over the course of her career, Moyo has advised independent power producers, utilities, development finance institutions, and multinational energy companies on transactions spanning renewable energy, power generation, transmission infrastructure, and oil and gas assets. Her expertise includes deal structuring, regulatory compliance, B-BBEE ownership frameworks, and cross-border partnership negotiations.
