Early Life and Education
[edit]Satish Sarma was born in Brahmanapalli near Reddygudem, Sattenapalli Mandal, Guntur District. He became active in Brahmin social activities from a young age, taking part in cultural, religious, and welfare efforts within the community.
Political Career
[edit]Telugu Desam Party (1998–2009, 2024–present)
[edit]Sarma started his political journey with the Telugu Desam Party in the late 1990s. He held multiple roles, including:
- Official state spokesperson for Telugu Yuvatha (youth wing)
- Organizing Secretary of the Guntur District TDP main wing
- Aspirant in the Guntur West MLA race in 2009
He rejoined TDP in May 2024 after citing a lack of Brahmin representation in YSR Congress Party.
YSR Congress Party (2011–2024)
[edit]Motivated by late YSRCP leader Duvvuri Somayajulu, Sarma joined YCP in 2011. He played a prominent role as a key Brahmin leader from Guntur District, serving on Brahmin Welfare Committees and remaining active in the Guntur West constituency. He was also an MLA ticket aspirant in 2014.

[edit]Since 2019, Sarma has served as a National Executive Member of this organization, contributing to food donation, pilgrimage logistics, and Brahmin unity efforts.
Founder Secretary of Lakshmi Tirupatamma Talli Temple
[edit]He is the founder secretary of the Lakshmi Tirupatamma Talli temple located in Reddypalem, Guntur. He has overseen temple development, religious events, and annual jatara.
Family
[edit]Sarma is married to Konuru Lakshmi Sailaja, who contested as a corporator candidate from the 39th division of Guntur Municipal Corporation in 2005. They have two sons:
- Konuru Rohan Chandra Grushneshwar Sesha Sai S. Sathwik Sarma (commonly called Sathwik Sarma)
- Konuru Eswar Chandra Lakshmi Nivas Karthik (commonly called Karthik)
