From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Konstantinos Vaviloussakis is a contemporary Greek artist known for his provocative and surreal oil paintings that explore themes of identity, sexuality, and the human condition. Born in Chios, Greece, in 1970, he studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, graduating in 1995, and later attended Central Saint Martins in London, focusing on magazine production and design in 2001.

His works often juxtapose eroticism with grotesque elements, employing modern technological codes against abstract backdrops to create a distinctive and evolving visual language. Vaviloussakis has presented his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Greece and internationally, including in France, Spain, Australia, and the Netherlands.

His paintings are part of prominent collections such as the Frissiras Museum in Athens, the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography, and the Musée de la Publicité at the Louvre in Paris.
