Kishna Bagoht Kishna Bagoht (born 18 May 1967), officially known as Kishan Singh, is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, poet, and stand-up comedian from Uttarakhand, India. He is known for his pioneering contributions to Garhwali-language cinema, theatre, and music, having written and directed numerous films, serials, and stage plays in Hindi and regional languages. With over three decades in the creative industry, Bagoht has earned a dedicated following among the Garhwali-speaking community across the world.

Early Life and Education Bagoht was born in Bidulgaon, Pauri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand. He graduated from Delhi University in 1986. Passionate about performance and writing since his early years, he moved into film and theatre in the late 1980s, beginning his journey in regional theatre and comedy performance.

Career Bagoht began performing as a stand-up comedian in Garhwali from 1990 and has since delivered more than 10,000 stage shows across India and abroad. He has worked in multiple capacities in the entertainment industry, including as a writer, director, editor, dubbing artist, and poster designer. He trained at Basra Studio, Mumbai, and collaborated with numerous major production houses like T-Series, Friends Video, Rama Cassettes, and Ugantar Films.
