Khalil Nur Khalil a Nigerian economist who served as the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency as appointed by former governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. He was appointed as Manager of Investor Relations in December 2019 and subsequently promoted to Acting Head of Investor Relations (IR) in January 2020. In October 2023, he was appointed as the Economic Adviser to the Katsina State Government under Malam Dikko Umaru Radda.[1][2][3][4]

Early life and education

Khalil was born in Kaduna in Kaduna State. He attended Glenalmond College in Perth, Scotland and obtained his Bachelor degree in Economics from the Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, North Cyprus[5][3]

Career

Khalil started his career in January 2018 at Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) as a Technical Assistant to the Head of the Investor Relations department. He was appointed on October 11, 2021, as the Executive Secretary (ES) of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency. Prior to this, he was promoted as Manager in 2019. In October 2023, he became the Economic Adviser to the State Government.[2][5][6][7]
