On May 22, 2025, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced the arrest of an unnamed minor in connection to a plot to bomb and shoot mallgoers at the Three Rivers Mall in Kelso, Washington[1] The minor, located in Portland, Oregon, was said to wanted to use a bomb to "set off a panic" with mallgoers, so he could shoot them.[2] After the attack, he planned to commit suicide.[3] According to the FBI, the minor had ties to extremist groups, and groups that promoted nihilistic ideology.[1][2] The minor, was also seen to be apart of 764.[4]
