Submission declined on 20 February 2025 by Significa liberdade (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.

Early Life and Education
[edit]Joshua Hudson was born on January 18, 1995, at Fort Carson in Colorado, the youngest of four siblings. From an early age, he exhibited a deep passion for music, teaching himself to play the piano at 10 and composing original pieces by 12. Seeking to further his musical and theological education, he attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri, where he studied music theory and vocal proficiency.
In December 2014, Hudson was dismissed from Ozark Christian College for violating the Spiritual Code of Conduct. He took the necessary steps for readmittance but was ultimately denied reentry. This experience marked a turning point in his spiritual journey.
Personal Journey and Spirituality
[edit]Following his dismissal from Ozark Christian College, Hudson experienced a period of religious disillusionment. Over time, he stepped away from organized religion and wrestled with his belief in God. However, despite his struggles, he continually felt God’s presence in his life. Through personal reflection and spiritual renewal, he ultimately rekindled his relationship with the Creator and maintains a healthy spiritual life to this day.
During his early 20s, Hudson also confronted the complexities of his identity within the framework of his faith. Having been raised in a Christian environment that largely opposed homosexuality, he spent years praying to be straight, believing that his devotion to God and ministry would change him. After two decades of prayer and commitment, he made the decision to embrace himself, vowing to continue honoring God and dedicating all his blessings to His glory. Later, he realized that his identity was not defined solely by being gay but rather by his capacity for love beyond gender, ultimately identifying as bisexual.
Career
[edit]Early Work and Hiatus
[edit]Although music remained his passion, Hudson took a sabbatical from his musical pursuits in 2015. He transitioned into a career in marketing within the tribal gaming industry in Northeast Oklahoma, where he developed expertise in branding and digital outreach.
Musical Comeback (2025–present)
[edit]In 2025, Hudson reignited his musical career, officially founding Joshua Hudson Music LLC and launching his debut praise and worship album, Basement Worship. The album signified his return to music with a renewed sense of faith and purpose. Using digital platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, Hudson actively works to spread messages of hope, worship, and spiritual reflection, reaching audiences worldwide.
Other Creative Works
[edit]Hudson’s artistic talents extend beyond music. He is the creator of Chick-fil-A! The Musical, a stage production inspired by his experiences as a team member at Chick-fil-A. In addition, he has written multiple unpublished literary works spanning both fiction and non-fiction. With a background in graphic design, he integrates his visual artistry into various creative projects.
Influences and Style
[edit]Hudson’s musical style is deeply influenced by renowned composers such as John Williams, Thomas Newman, Hans Zimmer, and Henry Jackman. His approach to contemporary Christian and worship music is inspired by artists like Enya, Twila Paris, Amy Grant, and Michael W. Smith, whose music has played a significant role in shaping his spiritual and artistic vision.
Personal Life
[edit]Today, Hudson continues to balance his career in marketing with his artistic and spiritual endeavors. Through his music, writing, and digital outreach, he remains committed to sharing his journey of faith, self-acceptance, and perseverance, encouraging others to embrace their identity while maintaining a meaningful relationship with God.
