History
[edit]Jitterbit was founded in 2003 as a data integration company, initially offering on-premise solutions. In 2012, Jitterbit received investment from Autodesk and Primera Capital.[6] KKR invested in 2016, and Samsung Venture Investment followed in 2019.[7][8][9] Audax Private Equity invested in the company in 2020.[10][11]
Jitterbit has expanded its operations to several countries, including Canada, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Poland, Australia, and India.
In 2019, Jitterbit launched its first cloud-based integration offering.[12]
In February 2024, Jitterbit appointed Bill Conner as President and Chief Executive Officer.[13] Previously, Conner held leadership roles at AT&T, Nortel, Entrust, and SonicWall.[13]
Platform Overview
[edit]The Jitterbit Harmony platform is designed for integrating various systems and automating workflows. Key features include: a drag-and-drop interface for creating data integrations and customizing workflows, low-code capabilities with pre-built connectors, and real-time monitoring for data sharing between systems. The platform also supports API creation and data management.[14]
In September 2024, Jitterbit announced the incorporation of AI-driven capabilities into the Harmony platform to assist with application building, connector creation, and documentation queries.[15]
M&A
[edit]- In May 2021, Jitterbit acquired eBridge Connections based in Ontario, Canada.[16]
- In November 2021, Jitterbit acquired Wevo, an iPaaS provider in Latin America.[17]
- In March 2023, Jitterbit acquired Zudy and its low-code application platform, Vinyl (later renamed App Builder).[18]
