Jamie Anderson (born c. 1980s) is an American film director, screenwriter, and former actress. In 2018, she was selected as one of the "Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch" by the International Screenwriters’ Association and named a "New Female Director to Watch Out For in 2020" by industry sources.[1]
In March 2024, Variety (via IMDb News) reported that Anderson was developing a military-themed comedy series with Talaria Media based on Mark Greene’s memoir Unsealed.[2]
Early life and background
[edit]Anderson grew up in Gulfport, Mississippi, later lived in Florida, and at 19 relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. She now resides in Beverly Hills, California.[1]
Acting career
[edit]During the 2000s, Anderson appeared in film and TV roles, including the Steven Spielberg-directed feature Catch Me If You Can (2002) and guest roles on shows such as Modern Family, The Shield, Ghost Whisperer, and Happy Endings (TV series).[3]
