Jacques F. Aubert specialised in Ichneumonidae. He described more than 600 ichneumonid taxa. His collection was further used by other taxonomists of the same field.[1]
The Musée de Zoologie in Lausanne, Switzerland, acquired the first part of Aubert's collection in 1983. The second part followed between 1991 and 2008.
