Islam Moyasser Saddiq
Islam Moyasser Saddiq is an Egyptian entrepreneur and businessman based in Qatar for over 40 years. He is the founder and managing director of several companies operating in construction, real estate, retail, food and beverage, and facility management across Qatar, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. Early Life and Education Saddiq graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Suez Canal University in Egypt in 2004. He began his career in construction as an entry-level engineer and progressively advanced to roles including project manager and partner. He also completed a course in Real Estate and Property Evaluation. Career In 2010, Saddiq founded Convert Engineering & Trading (CET), a construction firm based in Doha, Qatar. CET has since become a recognized main contractor in the country, achieving Grade A classification in 2023. To support CET’s operations, he established Convert Electro-Mechanical Contracting & Trading WLL (MEP) and Convert Wood Industries in 2011, specializing in electromechanical and woodwork services. CET has employed thousands of workers and undertaken multi-million-dollar projects across Qatar. In 2015, Saddiq founded Premium Limited Group (PLG), a retail and food and beverage company operating 22 stores across Qatar. PLG manages international franchise brands such as Texas Chicken, Sayidafendi, and Karafirin, along with the family entertainment center Yippyland and Karaca for home furnishings. In 2021, he launched IMS Projects & Facility Management, a firm integrating property management, maintenance, and facility services, managing assets valued at over $250 million USD. In 2023, he founded Benchmark Developments, a real estate development company focused on investment-driven property solutions. Saddiq is also a board member of Al Arkan Holding and Al Wessil Holding. His businesses focus on integrated solutions across the construction and real estate sectors, covering project concept design, execution, leasing, and long-term facility management.
