Iroha Okuda (奥田いろは, Okuda Iroha; born August 20, 2005) is a Japanese singer and actress. She is a fifth-generation member of the idol girl group Nogizaka46.
Early life and career
[edit]Okuda was born on August 20, 2005, in Kanagawa Prefecture and lived there until she was five years old before moving to Chiba Prefecture.[2]
2010–2014
[edit]Okuda began her entertainment career in 2008 at the age of three and regularly appeared in magazines and advertising posters.[3] She was affiliated with the talent agencies Carotte[4] and Hirata Beans.[5][6] As a child actress, her most notable role was in NHK's 2011 taiga drama Gō: The Princesses' Sengoku as young Hatsu.[7][8]
Nogizaka46–present
[edit]On February 1, 2022, Okuda passed the audition for the 5th generation of Nogizaka46 members.[9]
In 2024, she starred in her first musical play as Juliette in Romeó and Juliette, which began its performances on May 16.[10]
She was the center for the under song "Otoshimono" on the 36th single "Cheat Day", released on August 21, 2024.[11] She was also chosen for the first time as a selected member to sing and perform live performances of the title song of the 37th single "Shounenbashi", released on December 11.[12]
