Hussain Ceesay (born 17 July 1994 ) well-known as Hussain Dada[1], is a Gambian hip-pop artist. He was shortlisted for the Young Achievers Africa Awards[2] 2025 for Best Young Achiever Male Artist of the Year 2024/2025.[3] [4] [5] [6] He set out on his maiden European tour in June 2023, playing in Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy.[7] The tour was a success in promoting Gambian music overseas.[8]

His debut single, "Burger," featuring Mass Murder, was released in 2016, marking the start of his musical career. With the diss track "Rude Boy," he became well-known in 2018 and rose to prominence in the Gambian music scene.[9][10]

He is humanitarian brand ambassador for Kairo Clinic.[11]

Hussain Dada has released three albums:

- His first album, Bad Boy Dada (2021), was a major turning point in his rap career.[12]

- Louder (2024): An album that solidified his standing in the Gambian music industry.[13]

- International Localo (2023): A 12-track album containing songs like "Mr. Government," which speak to the difficulties Gambians experience, and "Feelings," which encourage togetherness in the music industry.[14]

His notable singles include:

- Tana Téla: A collaboration with ST Da Gambian Dream, which has garnered over 1.3 million views on YouTube.

- Kana Sumaya: Released in 2024, the song has reached over 221,000 views on YouTube.

- Avengers: A 2024 collaboration featuring various artists, which achieved significant chart success in The Gambia.

He has also featured in tracks like "We Lit," "Gang Gang," and "Hungry for Success," collaborating with both Gambian and international artists.
