Hussain Ceesay (born 17 July 1994 ) well-known as Hussain Dada[1], is a Gambian hip-pop artist. He was shortlisted for the Young Achievers Africa Awards[2] 2025 for Best Young Achiever Male Artist of the Year 2024/2025.[3] [4] [5] [6] He set out on his maiden European tour in June 2023, playing in Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy.[7] The tour was a success in promoting Gambian music overseas.[8]
His debut single, "Burger," featuring Mass Murder, was released in 2016, marking the start of his musical career. With the diss track "Rude Boy," he became well-known in 2018 and rose to prominence in the Gambian music scene.[9][10]
He is humanitarian brand ambassador for Kairo Clinic.[11]
