Holmarcom Group is a Moroccan family-owned conglomerate headquartered in Casablanca. Founded in 1978 by Abdelkader Bensalah, the group operates in various sectors including finance, agro-industry, logistics, real estate, and technology. History

Holmarcom was founded in 1978 by entrepreneur Abdelkader Bensalah. Initially focused on trade and insurance, the group expanded over the decades through acquisitions and diversification into multiple strategic sectors. Since 1993, it has been led by Mohamed Hassan Bensalah, who has overseen its modernization and international expansion.

Holmarcom is active in financial services through its holdings in banking and insurance. In 2022, the group acquired a 78.7% stake in Crédit du Maroc from Crédit Agricole S.A., enhancing its presence in Morocco’s banking sector.[1] It also owns AtlantaSanad Assurance, one of the country’s major insurance providers, listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.[2]

Agro-Industry

The group operates in agro-industry through Les Eaux Minérales d’Oulmès, a leading bottler of mineral water and soft drinks.[2] In 2023, Holmarcom launched “Biscoland,” a production unit for biscuits and chocolate products, to expand its footprint in food manufacturing.[3]

Logistics and distribution

Holmarcom manages supply chain, warehousing, and transport services that support its operations. Its logistics subsidiaries provide services to the group’s internal companies as well as external partners.[4]
