High on Life 2 is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed and published by Squanch Games. It is a sequel to High on Life (2022).
High on Life 2 was announced at the 2025 Xbox Summer Games Showcase, and is scheduled to release in the fourth quarter of 2025 for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.[1]
Gameplay
[edit]High on Life 2 is a first-person shooter with action-adventure elements. The player is a bounty hunter, who will be tasked throughout the game to assassinate select targets.
The player has an arsenal of talking weapons called "Gatlians". A new form of movement, the skateboard, was revealed in the trailer, and also acts as a weapon.
Plot
[edit]After saving humanity in the first game, the player character is extremely successful. However, an alien pharmaceutical conglomerate kidnaps their sister, Lizzie, and the player character seeks to take them down.[2]
