Hevi (born Heavenlight Issa Mtyaule on October 4, 2001) is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, producer, and Afro-fusion artist. She gained recognition for her single “My Rider,”..[1][2][3]

She was featured as a cover star on Episode 94 of Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio, where she discussed her creative process with host Nandi Madida[4]. She also appeared in Apple Music's editorial programs such as Africa Rising[5], Up Next East Africa[6], and New in Afrobeats.

Her debut EP was highlighted by Rolling Stone as one of “Our Favorite Afropop Songs and Albums of 2025 So Far.”[7]
