The brand operates under the umbrella of the Hantec Group,[1] a financial services organization founded in 1990 by Tang Yu Lap in Hong Kong.
Hantec Financial is represented through various licensed subsidiaries, including Hantec Market (V) Company Limited and Hantec (Seychelles) Services Limited. These entities are regulated by financial authorities in multiple jurisdictions. The brand received a license from the Hong Kong Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society[2] in 2002 and became regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)[3] in 2017. That same year, it also obtained authorization from the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC),[4] which marked the beginning of its international expansion across Oceania, Asia,[5][6] and Africa.[7]
