Hannan Max (legal name Hannanahmad Shaikh) is a Canadian tech entrepreneur, full-stack developer, and community organiser based in Sudbury, Ontario.^[1] He is the founder and chief executive officer of North Cipher Valley Inc., an AI-focused software company, and is best known for developing the Instagram-enhancement app HannanMaxIG, which has surpassed 100,000 downloads on Google Play.^[3]

Biography

Max was born in India and later moved to Sudbury, Ontario.^[1] While studying Mobile Application Development and Business Analytics at Cambrian College followed by coursework in mobile application developer, he began releasing Android applications and taking part in local hackathons.^[2]

Career

North Cipher Valley Inc.

Max founded North Cipher Valley Inc. to create AI-driven mobile and web solutions, including the smart link-in-bio platform CiphLy.^[2]

Mobile applications

Under his Google Play developer account, he has published several apps; the flagship product, HannanMaxIG, lets users download Instagram media for offline viewing and has exceeded 100,000 installs.^[3]

Community work

Since 2024 Max has served as lead organiser of GDG on Campus Cambrian College and co-organiser of GDG Sudbury, helping run DevFest Sudbury and other meet-ups covering Android, machine-learning, and cloud topics.^[4]^[5]
