Hamzeh Salehi (born 1982 in Izeh, Khuzestan) is an Iranian screenwriter and television director.

He began working in television in 2008 as an assistant to Laleh Sabouri in the children's program Rangin Kaman (Rainbow). Later, he became the director of the show and continued as the head writer and director on IRIB TV5 until 2014.,[1]

During this time, he also contributed as a writer to the comedy show Khandeh Bazar (Laugh Market) on IRIB TV3.[2]

Salehi started his career in cinema by writing the screenplay for the film Chocolaty (2017), directed by Soheil Movaffagh, which was featured at the Isfahan International Festival for Children and Youth.[3]

He then wrote the screenplay for Pastarioni, which was nominated for Best Screenplay at the 31st Isfahan International Festival for Children and Youth.[4][circular reference]

He went on to write screenplays for several high-grossing Iranian films including:
