The building Government Building No. 1 is a building located in the Government Complex No. 1, Pyongyang in the city of Pyongyang, North Korea. It is the headquarter of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the office of the supreme leader.
Location
[edit]The headquarters building of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea is located on Mt. Haebang in the south. It is built in the 'north-northeast' direction, leaning against Haebangsan Mountain, along the road in the valley between the hill and the northern hill.
Interior
[edit]The interior of the building is richly decorated with marble floors and columns. The first floor lobby has a marble floor and red marble columns. A carving of the Korean Workers' Party mark is attached to the wall in the center of the lobby.
