Golden Oak Private School
[edit]Golden Oak Private School is a private English International school located in the Agios Athanasios, Cyprus. The school has Kindergarten, Pre-School (Early Years), and Primary School levels.
History
[edit]Golden Oak Private School began operations in September 2022 with a single Reception class. In 2023, a second campus was established to accommodate additional primary-level students. The original site currently hosts Pre-primary classes [1] , and construction is underway on a new Primary School [2] facility adjacent to it. The first phase of the Primary School opened in September 2025. A Secondary School is planned to open in 2029.
The school is registered as a Cambridge International School and is licensed by the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth (Cyprus).
It follows the Cambridge International Curriculum from Early Years through Primary School. The program includes play-based learning in the early years and progresses to more structured academic instruction.
The curriculum incorporates aspects of the Montessori method and the British Early Years Learning Framework, emphasizing hands-on and developmental learning approaches. English is the primary language of instruction, and students attend daily Greek language classes. An English language support program is available for students who are not yet proficient in English.
Activities
