Comment: none of the English language sources meet the requirements of sources to show notability. Based on what they are sourcing I don't think the Nepali sources do either. Global Academy Secondary School is a private, co-educational English-medium school located in Mahendra Nagar (officially Bhimdatta Municipality), Kanchanpur District, Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal. The school is affiliated with the National Examinations Board (NEB) of Nepal and offers education for Grades 1 to 10.[1][2]

[edit]The school is situated in the Katan area of Mahendra Nagar, on Campus Road, within Bhimdatta Municipality. Bhimdatta is also officially known as Mahendra Nagar.[2]
Academics
[edit]Global Academy Secondary School provides education from Grade 1 to Grade 10, following the curriculum prescribed by the National Examinations Board (NEB).[1] The medium of instruction is English.
As per the 2081 IEMIS report cited by the Edusanjal portal, the school had 554 enrolled students in Grades 1 to 10.[1] Edusanjal also distinguishes this school from Beldadi Global Academy, located in Beldandi Rural Municipality.[3]
News coverage and public mentions
[edit]In October 2023, an article by My Republica reported on the death of alumnus Deepesh, who had studied at the school from Grade 1 to 10 on a scholarship. Principal Surendra Raj Ojha was quoted in the article.[4]
In January 2024, Radio Belauri reported that students from the school won awards in badminton during the 12th PABSON Mahotsav held in Mahendranagar.[5]
In March 2024, the school organized what was reported as the first district-level Rubik’s Cube competition in Kanchanpur, with participation from 38 schools.[6][7]
A listing in Janasarokar Post also announced that the school would host a Gita Knowledge Examination (Gita Gyan Pariksha) for multiple schools as part of a national campaign.[8]
