GingerBread D, full name Dominic Thomas, is an underground Horrorcore, Punk, and Emo Rap artist with music on the YouTube channel ADHDENTERTAINMENT, Spotify, Apple Music, and nearly all platforms, their logo depicts a gingerbread man holding a machete wearing a hockey mask, of which is tattooed on their throat amongst the many other tattoos and piercings they have gotten through the years, they got their start on a now deleted SoundCloud account in the year 2020 while still in High School, their music which started as “lighter” emo rap began to later combine fictional violence typical of horrorcore rap music, and “more vulnerable and less vague” lyrics about genuine struggles they had or have, in their early childhood they were sexually, physically, and emotionally abused by their father, as well as verbally abused by their mother, they were diagnosed with Autism at the age of five, and by the age of 18 they had been officially diagnosed with PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Hypochondria, Schizoaffective Disorder, Treatment Resistant Depression, and other mental health issues which contributed to their increasingly darker, more vulnerable, and sad lyrics as they continued to make music, at the age of 12, after thinking the only way they could cope is through substance use, they ended up becoming addicted to a multitude of different substances and eventually graduated to heroin at the age of 17, they discovered they are non-binary at the age of 22, and as of now they will begin MAT for their addiction issues and continue to further their music career path, hoping that they can quote “atleast help one person not feel alone in their struggles, because beside the horrorcore persona they sprinkle in lyrics about their own struggles for that very reason, so that atleast one person can relate to it and know they are not alone”
