About
The Genuine Orthodox Church of Texas (GOCTX) is an autonomous, Old Calendarist Zealot Orthodox Church based in The Woodlands, Texas, headed by three Metropolitan Archbishops who control various areas of Texas and the United States. The Church's hierarchs mostly are ones who have seperated from larger Churches such as the GOCUSA and OCA.
Locations
The GOCTX has no current locations and relies on small private chapels and Churches that allow them to practice in.
Hierarchy
The GOCTX is headed by Metropolitan Ioann, Metropolitan Chamuel, and Metropolitan Maximus. They have priests, Bishops, and deacons.
Legitimacy
The GOCTX is not currently registered as a non-profit organization. They are seen as legitimate by some Christians, and it is believed that their Apostolic Succession comes from the Old Believers and the Old Calendarists.
