Gatto is an upcoming American animated fantasy film directed by Enrico Casarosa and produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures.
Casarosa began developing his next Pixar feature film in October 2022. He stated that there were no plans for a sequel to Luca (2021). The title was officially announced in June 2025. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on June 18, 2027.

[edit]In October 2022, Enrico Casarosa announced on Twitter that he was developing a new feature film for Pixar. He stated that there were no plans for a sequel to Luca (2021).[2] At the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June, Pixar's chief creative officer Pete Docter officially announced Casarosa's second original feature film titled Gatto, with Andrea Warren producing.[1]
Release
[edit]Gatto is scheduled to be released in the United States by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on June 18, 2027.[1] In August 2024, the film's release date was reserved for an "untitled Pixar film".[3]
