Frank Song is an American entrepreneur and private equity investor.[1] He is the founder and managing partner of a private investment firm, and has served as a senior diplomatic advisor to the United Nations.[2][3]
Early life and education
[edit]Song was born and raised in Fremont, California.[4] By the age of 18, Song had obtained a California Real Estate License. At 19, he also earned the Stockbroker License and a California Life and Disability Insurance License.[5]
Career
[edit]In 2009, Song started working at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, an investment firm focused on real estate, energy, credit, and private equity.[6][1] Song is the founder of a private investment firm managing approximately $500 million in committed capital.[7][2]
In addition to his work in finance, Song has served as a senior diplomatic advisor to the United Nations, where he has provided guidance on strategic international issues.[3][8][9] He has also been a guest lecturer at the University of California and Berkeley Alumni Association, among others.[4]
