Comment: Fails WP:NALBUM, requires significant coverage about the album, in multiple independent secondary sources. Social media websites, such as Twitter (X), and YouTube, are not considered as reliable for the purposes of notability. Dan arndt (talk) 07:19, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Not enough WP:SIGCOV to warrant an article. YouTube links are also mostly unreliable as sources. Rambley (talk) 10:10, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

Father Figure (stylized in all caps) is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Jon Bellion, released through Beautiful Mind Records on June 4, 2025. It features guest appearances from Pharrell Williams, Luke Combs, and Jon Batiste. The album was supported by five singles: "Kid Again", "Wash", "Wash2", "Horoscope", and "Why". It was announced through Bellion's social media accounts on April 14, 2025,[1][2] and is his first in six years since Glory Sound Prep (2018).
Background and release
[edit]In May 2024, Bellion was interviewed by podcaster and YouTuber George Janko, where it was confirmed that the songwriter had been around three months in production of Father Figure. Bellion also spoke about his struggle of paying himself out of his touring contract with entertainment company Live Nation.[3][4]
On September 17, 2024, Bellion posted to his socials a link to a website. The website played a behind-the-scenes documentary on the production of his first solo single in six years, "Kid Again".[5] Eight days later, he announced the release of "Kid Again" on September 27 to all major streaming platforms.[6]
Bellion announced his second single for his album, "Wash," to release on March 21. The single's accompanying music video was shot in Mýrdalsjökull, Iceland.[7] The song was made downloadable to his fans two days prior to the single's release via his email list and forum, beautifulmind.club. The song received an acoustic version titled "Wash2," which was released on April 4, 2025, along with its music video.[8]
On April 14, 2025, Bellion revealed the album's title, tracklist, and release date on social media.[1] Two days later, he announced that the lead single "Horoscope" would be released on April 18.[9] The fifth and final single, "Why" featuring Luke Combs, was released on May 23.[10][11][12]
Bellion self-funded the album. In efforts to fairly compensate songwriters, the credited co-writers would receive a percentage of master royalties on the album.[13]
