Farmaan Hasan Khan (also known as Farman Mian) is a Social activist, Allahabad High Court lawyer, and Indian social & community leader of Sunni Barelvi Muslims based in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He is National General Secretary of Jamaat Raza-e-Mustafa, a Sunni Barelvi organization founded to promote the teachings of Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi. He is founder of the Aala Hazrat Tajushshariah Welfare Society, an international NGO focused on social welfare, public health, and education.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]He completed his degree in law and is practicing High Court lawyer at the Allahabad High Court. He is associated with the spiritual and intellectual legacy of the Barelvi movement and is a key figure in the management and activities of the Dargah Aala Hazrat in Bareilly. He is the son-in-law of Asjad Raza Khan, known as Kaji-e-Hindustan, a prominent Barelvi figure, and the grandson of Ahmed Raza Khan, former Grand Mufti of India.[citation needed]
He is conferred with Hon Doctorate in Social Work by Bharath Peace University, Karnataka.[2]
Social and humanitarian work
[edit]He is known for his philanthropic activities across Uttar Pradesh and India. Through the Aala Hazrat Tajushshariah Welfare Society, he has led multiple initiatives in the fields of:
- Healthcare: Organizing free medical camps and sponsoring surgeries for economically weaker patients.[3][4][5]
- Women's empowerment: Providing free computer education programs and skill development training for girls.[6]
