[edit]Facetheory is based in Sheffield, England and was established in 2014. The company focuses on creating natural, vegan, and cruelty-free skincare products. This strategy has significantly contributed to its growth, with revenue increasing from £2 million to £15 million over the past three years.
Facetheory has gained a substantial customer base, boasting over 350,000 active customers and employing around 60 staff members. The brand's product line includes a variety of items such as serums, moisturisers, toners and cleansers, all formulated with a commitment to clean ingredients and sustainability. In December 2021, Facetheory raised £10 million in Series A funding from Active Partners, which is intended to support further research and development as well as expansion into international markets.
In June 2024, Facetheory launched its first retail store in London, located at Regent Street within the Quadrant Arcade. This flagship store embodies a unique "lab-meets-store" concept, focusing on skincare education and offering an immersive shopping experience as the brand celebrates its 10th anniversary.
