Essel Kwame Asamoah is the last born of his parents, Asamoah Asnab (Father) and the Madam Grace Asamoah (Mother). His elder brother charles asamoah is also a former professional footballer.[1] his elder brother charles asamoah played an important role in his carrer helping his younyer brother to reach his goal.
Essel Kwame Asamoah (born 16 December 1997) is a Ghanaian Footballer who currently plays for (LES BUFFLES DU BORGUE)https://www.besoccer.com/team/buffles-de-borgou club . Essel Kwame Asamoah began his career way back in his home country where he started with his boyhood club called (Accra Sporting Club) https://www.transfermarkt.com/sporting-club-accra/startseite/verein/682 where he was scouted at a very young age to join the junior national team of Ghana (u 14) at the national sport college in (2011). He was part of the young team that was formed under coach (Oti Akenteng)https://www.ghanafa.org/oti-akenteng-played-a-big-role-in-ghana-football-gfa-president to build them up for the Senior National Team.
Career
[edit]Essel Kwame Asamoah started his professional football club with (INTER ALLIES FC)http://www.interalliesfc.com in (2013–2014) at a very young age where he was scouted by one of the top coaches in Ghana, the late (Coach Cecil Jones Attuquayefio)https://www.ghanafa.org/statement-gfa-mourns-cecil-jones-attuquayefio.[2] Essel Kwame Asamoah appeared in over 24 matches and scoring most amazing goals for the club. He won the most promising club player award. He was also invited to the national team in 2014.
International
[edit]Essel Kwame Asamoah then moved to (LES BUFFLES DU BORGUE) where he spent a year there making 29 appearances and scoring 7 goals, helping the club to win the league title and also gaining a spot to play in the CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE in (2016). He was also was awarded the clubs best player for that year. He was asked to naturalize to play for the Benin Junior National Team in which he refused because of the love he has for his mother country Ghana.
He was then spotted by the late (AHLAJI SLY TETTEH) https://www.pulse.com.gh/sports/football/today-in-history-founder-of-liberty-professionals-sly-tetteh-passes-away-during/8ewh1x8 who was the founder and the owner of one of the clubs in Ghana called Liberty Professionals. He then took him for trials at (fc UDINESE CALCIO) where by negotiations were unsuccessful.
As time went by and by the prolific center midfeilder then moved to an Angolan club called (JGM DO HUAMBO)https://globalsportsarchive.com/team/soccer/jgm-asc-do-huambo/28234/ where he had a good season in 2017 playing 28 games and scoring 4 goals. He was one of the top players in Angola and clubs began competing for his signature. He later joined the rival club (RECREATIVO DA CAALA) https://tipsscore.com/en/football/team/recreativo-da-caala of Angola, and the president of the club (GENERAL MOSQUITO) https://www.lilpastanews.com/2020/06/mi-mosquito-garante-salario-dos-atletas.html was delighted to sign him to his club. He then later appeared 27 times for the club in 2018 scoring 7 goals. Due to some injuries he sustained at the club, the player wanted to terminate his contract. However, his club coach at that time; who died last year on July 9, 2021 (DAVID DOS SANTOS DIAS) https://www.jusbrasil.com.br/processos/nome/33522982/david-dos-santos-dias was pleased with his performance and wanted to keep him with the club. Essel Kwame Asamoah later left Angola due to frequent illnesses. He attended trials in European countries; one of which was Georgia with (DYNAMO TBILISI FC).
