Eric Charles Hildebrand (1915 - 1985)
Eric Charles Hildebrand was born on 12 July 1915 in Knysna, Cape Province, South Africa (Now Knysna, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa) to Joseph Charles Hildebrand and Sara Marie Roelofse Hildebrand.
Eric was a gas salesman and made a living on earning income from selling gas to customers with his wife Anna from their farm property in Knysna.
Eric later married Anna Rubina Mitchell. And with her he had several children including Henry Edward Hildebrand, Nancy Elizabeth Hildebrand, Alna Hildebrand, Anna Hildebrand, Sara Hildebrand, James Ross Hildebrand, Joseph C. Hildebrand, Eric Hildebrand and Raymond Hildebrand.
Eric and Anna both passed away in July 1985 due to an accidental gas leakage catching flame according to their son Henry Edward Hildebrand.
According to Henry, both were burried in Knysna, South Africa during the same month, July of 1985. And the same cemetery.
