Ema Moric was born into the prominent Moric (Moritz/Maurice) family and holds German and British descent. Her family moved here during the New Age, and acquired a large amount of farmable land contributing to gross agrarian and regional product, significantly increasing the regional trade margin. They were briefly Captains of the Uno-Sanska Kapetanija under Ottoman Bosnia, from 1797 to 1808 under Mahmud Morić.
