History
[edit]It was founded as "Dragon Fly Srl" by brothers Angelo and Alfredo Castiglioni in Cucciago (Como). The first two prototypes of helicopters were designed and built in 1989. The DF 333 was the first helicopter to enter production, certified by the RAI in 1996 and made in about 70 units of the Dragon Fly 334
The company was acquired in 2010 by the Swiss group "Avio International Group Holding S.A.", founded in 2007, together with GeneralAvia, and is named after the company.
He developed the world’s first double-engine piston helicopter, the SK-1 Twinpower .
