[edit]In 2013, Dr. Gabriel Mohagheghi founded Real Münster[5], a beach soccer club based in Germany. The team won the Beach Soccer World Cup in 2022 and was ranked as the number one beach soccer club globally in 2024[6][7].
International Work
[edit]In 2016, Dr. Gabriel Mohagheghi was invited to Senegal to support the development of the country’s beach soccer program[8]. Senegal had established a national championship in 2016 and launched what was, at the time, the largest beach soccer academy in Africa.
In 2020, Dr. Gabriel Mohagheghi was appointed as the head coach of the Luxembourg national beach soccer team[9]. His role includes leading the team’s technical development and preparing them for international competitions under the supervision of the Luxembourg Football Federation.
His work beach soccer has been recognized internationally for its impact on coaching and team development.
