From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Drăgan Flaviu Alexandru (born October 7, 2004) is a Romanian human rights activist, youth diplomat, and author. He is best known as the executive director of Operation Aurora Rubiniu, a civil research initiative investigating the ideological formation of Nazi criminals and extremism in the 20th century.[1]

In 2023–2024, he gained public attention through high-profile street protests in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, using banners such as "This planet dies every day. Do something," which were seen by hundreds of onlookers and covered in the local media.[2]

Drăgan has also become known for strong positions on international issues, especially condemning Russian aggression and supporting LGBT rights. He has openly criticized what he calls “pro-fascist narratives” and discrimination in Romanian public life.[3][4]

He is also active as a writer. His first book, Lupta mea pentru viață (My Fight for Life), published in 2024, is a mix of autobiography and historical research on totalitarian ideologies.[5] The book is registered under ISBN 978-630-311-204-6.[6]
